For over 80 years, St Lucy’s School has supported students with disabilities to learn in ways that are meaningful, empowering, and individualised.

At the heart of this work is our specialist Therapy Team—speech pathologists and occupational therapists who collaborate closely with teachers to enhance students’ access to learning and build staff capability.

Students like Naomi show what’s possible. Living with a rare genetic condition and complex communication needs, Naomi connects with the world through gesture, technology, and AUSLAN. With the support of this integrated approach, she has developed her voice, independence, and confidence.

Our model ensures that students are supported in real learning environments, where it matters most—by a team working together with shared understanding, shared strategies, and shared goals.
